LOVELY OVERTIME GOAL LIFTS COLTS OVER LARRIES 2-1


Colts celebrate the sudden-victory goal that beat St. Lawrence Central 2-1.  In the 50th minute, Merrick Frary set up Jacob Evans for the game's first goal. 1-0 Larries. Twelve minutes later, Jack Garcia fired off a 25-yard shot that rose into the upper-right corner of the net, tying the game at 1-1. HAMMOND BREAKS SCORELESS TIE IN O.T. BEATING PIRATES

Canton's William Andes (12) toes a shot on net for a goal.  After Tomi Husinec scored the opening goal in the third minute, he set up Josh McLear with a thru-ball for the score, giving Canton a 2-0 lead. Salmon River countered eight minutes later on a blast from Casey Jacobs, cutting the Bears lead to 2-1. But Canton offset the goal seconds later, when Husinec’s quick drive dented the back of the net.  On the corner kick, McLear to William Andes who flicked in the header. 4-1 Bears. LISBON ROLLS, DEFEATING HEUVELTON FOR FIRST LOSS 


Lisbon's Ty Jacobs (3) side kicks the ball into the net.  Eight minutes in, on a corner kick, Noah Gendebien connected with Logan Brooks, 1-0 Lisbon. Five minutes later, on a direct kick, Cooper Rutherford crossed, Isaiah White delivered a bullet header, 2-0 Golden Knights.  Ty Jacobs to Chris Wells who leaned into goal #3.  Jacobs fell down, but Logan Morrow followed behind and finished the scoring play. White then delivered a penalty kick.  5-0 Lisbon at the half. Jacobs on the inside run dished to Connor Claxton who delivered goal #6. Heuvelton's best chance was tipped by goalie Casey Jacobs and rolled just over the crossbar. Ty Jacobs with his first goal of the game, then Landon Ward connected on a second PK. IN O.t. AT NORWOOD-NORFOLK


Hunter Perretta (3) feeds the ball for Michael Ortiz to rip the game-winning goal in overtime.  In the 10th minute, Hammond’s Michael Ortiz intercepted the outlet pass, then drilled a low liner to the corner of the net.  1-0 Red Devils. Flyers looking for the equalizer as Wyatt Hazelton turned and fired on net, but goalie Hudson Arquiett grabbed the shot.  Dylan Wozny got a partial break and lobbed a shot on net, but it would be Macomb Richards to tie the game for the Flyers with 10 minutes left. M-W JACKETS UPEND LARRIES 3-2 IN EAST DIVISION BATTLE


Madrid-Waddington's Ryan Mayette (14) breaks free, but rips his potential game winner just wide.  On a 20-yard direct kick, the Yellow Jackets’ Jacob Mayette drills the ball top shelf, tying the game at 1-1. Merrick Frary, who scored the opening goal just 22 seconds into the game, tries again to tuck the ball under the bar from 60 yards, but keeper Grant Hayes saves. Haiden Barnes on a breakaway, point blank, tucks the ball into the mesh. Larries go back on top 2-1. Barnes with another sharp blast on net, but Hayes comes up big again. On another Mayette direct kick, Kolby Todd redirects the ball with a header, tying the game at 2-2. WARREN BOOTS GOUVERNEUR PAST POTSDAM IN 2-1 VICTORY


Gouverneur's Gavin Warren (1) pumps a shot from 20 yards out, placing the ball directly under the crossbar and into the net for what would be the game winner.  The Wildcats edged Potsdam 2-1.  Earlier from 35 yards out, Warren bounced the ball off the crossbar, to the goal line and back to the crossbar, but no goal, and play went on.  On a corner kick, Warren delivered the ball to the far post. Kelvin Bice got the tip in. 1-0 Gouverneur. Potsdam sought the equalizer.  Liam Langstaff launched the corner kick. However, the would-be header is waived off on an offsides call.  With less than five minutes remaining, Patrick Kelly got a breakaway and firef off the crossbar. ALDOUS GOAL SEALS RAIDERS' 2-1 WIN OVER SANDSTONERS


Massena's Jack Jarrett (20) and Potsdam's Quinn McGaheran  (6) tangle for the loose ball.  Nate Page opened up the scoring with a redirect on a cross from Camron Francis. Massena up 1-0.  Patrick Kelly sped through the defense and dumped the ball past the diving goaltender. P-H PANTHERS OPEN WITH 7-2 VICTORY VS. M-W JACKETS


On a direct kick, Joey Guiney delivers the goal from 30 yards.  Three minutes into the contest, Ryan Murray weaved through the defense, tucked the ball under the Jackets’ goaltender, 1-0 Panthers.  After a takedown, M-W's Jacob Mayette drove home the penalty kick, tying the game 1-1.  He scored both M-W goals Jude Teneych then ran through the defense and drilled the ball inside the opposite post to P-H back on top 2-1.   On a direct kick, Joey Guiney delivered the goal.   Teneych on the breakaway sunk the shot.  Teneych netted four goals and one assist, guiding Parishville-Hopkinton to a 7-2 victory over Madrid-Waddington.  (Kyton Deon photo)
