MASSENA'S THREE-GOAL RUN SINKS EAGLES 6-3 IN TOURNEY


Massena's Houston Johnson (18) his way in from the left, slipping the puck in front of the net where Cameron Francis tucked the home. Raiders went ahead 4-2.  Earlier, less than two minutes into the game, Drew Smutz snapped a wrister to put the Raiders on the board 1-0.  After Beekmantown tied the score just seconds later, Johnson skated in and puts Massena back in the lead 2-1. Less than a minute later, Beekmantown would tie the game again on a breakaway. 2-2. Still in the first period, Connor Trimboli connected on a goal to give the Raiders a 3-2 lead.  After Parker O'Neill shot, Brody Clookey slammed home the rebound.  Brady Frost netted the final goal. VICTOR NETS 4 GOALS IN 1ST PERIOD TO DOWN POTSDAM 6-1


Victor's Simon Kowal (17) snaps the Blue Devils' third of four goals in the first period.  Potsdam's lone goal was scored by Lukas Meyers (77) from Brandon Bernard (21).  Victor beat Potsdam 6-1 to win the Massena Tournament.

POTSDAM THWARTS ISLANDER RALLY IN SECURING 7-4 WIN


Potsdam’s Ryan Charlebois (16) skates in and snaps off a wrister that picks the upper-right corner of the net for the game's first goal. The Sandstoners raced out to leads of 4-0 and 5-1, before the Islanders rallied to close the gap to 5-4 early in the third period. Potsdam put the game away with two late goals by Lukas Myers. Myers scored four goals overall, while Charlebois, Owen Lovely and Tommy Niles pumped in the remaining goals in Potsdam's 7-4 victory. Ray Peters led Thousand Islands with a pair of goals, while Mason Savage and Carter Phinney netted the other goals. Potsdam goalkeeper Chase Rozler racked up a whopping 56 saves, including 27 stops in a furious third period. Brayton Bradley stopped 28 shots for the Islanders.   (Kyton Deon photo)

BLUE DEVILS WIN 4TH IN FIVE DAYS, DOWNING ICEMEN 7-1


Just 78 seconds into the contest, Ogdensburg's Nikolai Ramsdell whips a shot from the point that trickles off Norwood-Norfolk goalie Archer Dafoe and into the net. N-N ICEMEN RALLY FALLS JUST SHORT TO ONTARIO BAY 3-2

After the Icemen fell behind 3-0, Gavin Sessions put the Norwood-Norfolk on the scoreboard with a second-period goal.  Kaden Irish scored the other goal.  Despite a persistent flurry in the final five minutes, the Icemen were unable to produce the equalizer.  Ontario Bay shaded Norwood-Norfolk 3-2, in the SLC Larries Holiday Tourney.
